The Caughlin Ranch encompasses 2300 acres, stretching from the foothills of the Sierra
Nevada mountains to the Truckee River. The Master Plan is designed to offer a unique
balance between the man-made and natural environments. The Caughlin Ranch
Development Standards Handbook and its updates are the blueprints of the master plan.
The implementation of the master plan began in 1984, and is expected to continue
